Presentation

Engaged for many years in the world of sailing and sports, Bertrand Quéguiner, director of the Horizon29 offshore racing team, has decided to start the construction of an IMOCA. It will be skippered by the Breton Élodie Bonafous, with the Vendée Globe 2028 in her sights.

For this new sporting and global challenge, the entrepreneur and the sailor have decided to collaborate with the MerConcept team, led by François Gabart, for the construction of an IMOCA designed by Guillaume Verdier. This sistership of the IMOCA MACIF Prévoyance, the most recent winner of the Vendée Globe, is set to be a formidable opponent in the world’s biggest international competitions. Designed for speed, durability, and adaptability to the extreme conditions of the oceans, it is the perfect tool to help Élodie Bonafous reach the highest levels of competition.
