HYDROEM
Created in 1985, HYDROEM is specialised in the design and construction of hydraulic installations. In 1993, the company positioned itself in the competitive sailing sector. In 2000, Michel DESJOYEAUX won the Vendée Globe on PRB, which was equipped with HYDROEM tilting keel cylinders.
In 2004, out of 20 boats starting the round the world race alone and without assistance, 6 of them were already equipped by HYDROEM. At the end, Vincent RIOU on PRB and Jean LE CAM on BONDUELLE, both equipped with HYDROEM finished on the top 2 steps of the podium.
Since then, its involvement in the various teams has grown steadily and in 2014 IMOCA retained the company as the exclusive supplier of its standardised hydraulic assemblies.
