Tolrip, based in Brussels and managed by Mr. René Pirlot is specialised in risk management and insurance.

Since 2010, Mr Pirlot has been the Risk Manager of the IMOCA Class. When he started it was very difficult to insure an IMOCA and the costs were prohibitive. Today, the IMOCA class offers its members reliable insurance solutions at competitive prices that are compatible with the life of our projects. This is the result of meticulous work, carried out on a global scale, in collaboration with PANTAENIUS, the world leader in yacht insurance.

In addition to boat insurance, Mr. Pirlot has also invested in the personal insurance of our skippers. His work has enabled us to progress with our insurer MDS and to offer our skippers adapted solutions that are in line with the needs of their profession.

The objective is to offer solutions for all special risk Sports and Events for the IMOCA class.
