🎯 Job Description

Your primary mission will be to assist our team in conducting Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) projects focused on boat construction and eco-design studies. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Defining LCA studies: Setting goals and methodologies for the projects.
  • Data collection and analysis: Collaborating with industry partners to gather and analyze data.
  • Literature reviews: Conducting research and synthesizing technical and scientific studies.
  • LCA modeling: Using MarineShift360 to assess environmental impacts.
  • Interpreting and presenting results: Delivering clear, pedagogical presentations for stakeholders.
  • Proposing improvements: Identifying actionable solutions for product and service optimization through eco-design.

🧑‍🎓 Candidate Profile

Are you passionate about boat construction, energy, the environment, or offshore racing? If so, this internship is for you!
We’re looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • Education: Master’s level (Bac+5) from an engineering school or university, with a specialization in LCA.
  • Experience: A prior experience (internship or project) related to LCA applied to construction.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency with LCA modeling software (e.g., SimaPro, OpenLCA) and ideally some knowledge of boatbuilding and composite construction methods.
  • Soft skills: Detail-oriented, capable of delivering rigorous work, and skilled at presenting findings in an engaging and clear way.
